Katta Sterner
Is a proud new mother to a young boy named: Emrik, enjoys her favorite sport which is skate boarding, and believes flag football is the best sport for women and girls.
Katta started to play flagfootball in 2003 when she lived in Norway, Oslo. The IWFFA tournament came to Oslo and she just wanted to try it. She fell in love with the game and has been playing at least one tournament every year since 2003.

"I think more people should try out flagfootball, it´s so much fun and everyone can play it, where there you are big or small, fast or slow, there is always a spot for you on the field with us!"
Katta went to key west 2005 and met some friends from Atlanta whom she visited for some mounths in 2006. Then she played some games with the Atlanta Rages during that stay.
She has also played flagg football in Helsinki, Finland, with the Roosters.
2013 year will be 10 years annaversary as a flag footballer : )

Katta is captain of the Gothenburg Angels flagfootball team in Sweden, who: "play like angels and party as animals"
People like Diane Beruldsen and Lena Green Johansson have really been my inspiration to play flag and I hope I can keep that inspirational fire burning so we can build the sport for women in Sweden. The IWFFA is an amazing organization which allows any women to play, even if she does not play so good. Everyone is welcome.
