JANET JORDAN

The 2009 sportswoman of the year, Janet Jordan, started her flag football playing at age 40. She had played football growing up in Dallas but as a girl, at that time, did not have the opportunity to continue the sport she loved.

Janet played on many teams, but mostly the Loose Women's Teams. Always playing on a team who never praticed before yet competed in IWFFA tournaments can be a challenge to an athlete who is very competitive. Janet is one of the IWFFA's most competitive athletes, yet, whether the Loose Women's teams were winning or loosing, she always played strong and fair and as a team player.
