Inger Elin Aftret

Oslo, Norway

She began her flag football career in the autumn of 2003 when she experienced her first training with the Oslo Polar Bears.

In 2004, Inger played her first tournament in Oslo. She began playing Guard, and in 2006 became receiver. Throughout Inger’s flag football career, she has received many awards.

Inger helped to start the Moss Penguin’s team in 2010, who join forces with the Oslo Polar Bears in many of the Scandinavian tournaments and they call themselves: Moss / Oslo Penguins.

 

Inger Elin Aftret

Inger Elin Aftret was born November 11, 1976 in Selbu, Norway (middle part of Norway) and on a farm. Inger is the oldest of 3 sisters. Beginning with handball at age 6 as line player, she played the position of line player in handball.

 

Inger moved to Oslo (capital of Norway), then to the city of Sarpsborg where she works for their building department as byggesaksbehandler.

In wintertime I like go skiing and during the summer I cycle a lot”.

“I love to be a part of a flag football team, both playing and for having fun and be social.

 

The best thing about flag football is that there is some many different positions in a team, and there will always be a position that suits everyone”.
