Description of Event for Loose Woman
This team is for the individual player, or group of women who don't have enough for a team
.
Loose Woman Registration Fee is $45 (this includes Loose Woman Tournament Team Tee Shirt )
Every participant must be a 2010 IWFFA member ($25 annual fee). Membership Form included in your registration pac.
Your hotel booking must be made through our IWFFA office and we have a list of discounted prices for our players. This hotel reservation is part of your registration. Hotel page
All fees and completed registration are due by December 15, 2009. After December 17th, add additional $20 fee
We may have more than one loose women’s team: Beginner & Competitive (seed round) - check which division you want on our Loose Women Registration FORM (included in your registration pac).
Once you register, you will receive our Drills Play Book to help you in the huddle. You will meet the rest of the Loose Women at Wednesday's Opening Ceremonies, Players Parade (the team will march together) and can discuss who plays what position, game strategy the night before at our Meet & Greet.
Each player will be guaranteed to play a minimum of three (3) games, and everyone plays - no sitting on the bench!. IWFFA rules will be used for tournament play.
The tournament will supply belts & flags, pinnies/ football, kicking tees to play for the tournament. You will receive a play book, once you register
Two Fields are located at Wicker Field - Between 14th St. and Kennedy Blvd. on Flagler Ave. There is a third field we will use this year: Tommy Roberts Field on Kennedy Blvd. We usually play one game per day, and so you will have time to enjoy the island of Key West for some water sports, moped riding, fishing, shopping, Duval Crawl, etc. During tournament, there will be food at the field, fun half time games to win prizes and a special half-time entertainment show for last World Challenge Game.
World Challenge Game III – This is an all star of U.S. players vs International all star players – It will be played Saturday Night and we use tournament results to decide which players make the teams. You may be picked to play on this team, even if your in the Beginner Division. Sunday will be a late night for games and awards, so please don’t think of leaving the island until Monday morning.
Awards are given immediately following the last championsip Game. Loose Women's team receives: MVP Offense, MVP Defense, may be picked for our Special Select All Star Team in additional to the World Challenge Game.
There will be fun activities and social events throughout the week which Loose women have reputation and are notorious for!
