Teams are required to make their hotel bookings thru the office of the IWFFA.

These hotel bookings are part of your team registration for tournament participation

Deadline to Book: Dec 31, 2005 (your hotel booking # is needed for your team registration)

 

·       Booking 100 rooms (for several teams), compared with 10 rooms (say for one team), will give us lower rates for all our players. All of these hotels are discounted.

·       By using the IWFFA as your “travel agent” to book your hotel, we can now “wheel and deal” with the hotels so that we can get the best rates or gratis for our players, volunteers, sponsored teams and officials.

·       We are trying to cut our tournament expenses so that we do not have to raise registration fees. Help us help you.

·       Usually, a one-night deposit is sufficient, or just a credit card to hold reservation. Some facilities require rooms to be paid in full prior to arrival. Please check each description and their cancellation policies before booking.

·       Florida State requires a 11.5% sales tax, for every Fl. hotel which are added to these rates in Total price

Host Hotel

 

Host Hotel  -  Grand Key Resort  - A Four Star Hotel! Rate: $175 per night - 3990 South Roosevelt Blvd

Description: Sleeps 4 per Deluxe room. This is where our Meet & Greet Player/Team Registration is held. Near airport, close to the field and beaches, this beautiful resort has many extra special accommodations, now affordable through our discount to make your stay here on the island very special. Bathrobes, Sony Play station, room service, huge amoeba shaped pool, Jacuzzi, tiki bar, coffee machines in each room, restaurant on property and much more. (11.5% tax = $20.13 / Total $195.13) credit card OK to hold reservation (card is not swiped) / Cancellation Policy: 72 hours. Penalty for late cancellation – one night plus tax.

Suites

Sheraton Suites – 2001 South Roosevelt Dr. 5 minutes to the fields and minutes to the beaches

Rate:  $205 per night  per villa, extra person fee waived plus additional Resort Fee $8.06 fee which includes phone, faxes, access to pool per day. Description: Sleeps 5 comfortably, can accommodate 6 per suite. Full amenities, kitchenette , living room - sofa bed, one bedroom, restaurant on property, swimming pool. (11.5% tax = $23.58 + $8.06 resort fee / Total $236.63) Credit card is fine to hold reservation and will not be swiped until day of arrival. Cancellation Policy – 72 hours (make sure you receive cancellation #). Penalty for late cancellation – 1 night plus tax.  

Time Shares

Hyatt Vacation Club - $240 for 6 person /fully furnished,  all the luxuries of home, plus more. 5051 Over Seas Hwy.

1 mile away from fields / quarter mile from Meet & Greet Registration. Sleeps 6 comfortably. Teams can do all their cooking, eat meals before you go out to the games, or party! For their accommodations, luxury and cost, this may very well be the best deal for teams!  Type of payment:  Cashier Check only. One night deposit accepted no earlier than Dec 6^th, and then balance is to be paid in full one month prior to tournament: January  6^th. First come, first serve, this place may be a sell out. Sorry, we have sold out (see sister facility at Windward Pointe just below)

Hyatt Windward Pointe - $240 for 6 persons / fully furnished, all the luxuries of home, plus more. 3675 South Roosevelt Blvd.

1 1/2 mile away from field and just across the Gulf! (what a view) / just down the road from Meet & Greet / For their accommodations, luxury and cost, this may very well be the best deal for teams!  Type of payment:  Cashier Check only. One night deposit accepted no earlier than Dec 6^th, and as soon as you contact our office for booking. Balance is to be paid in full one month prior to tournament: January  6^th. First come, first serve, this place may be a sell out.

Coconut Mallory–  Rate:  $ 235 with extra person fee waived.  - 1445 South Roosevelt Blvd  - less than 5 minutes to field + minutes to the beaches Description:  Sleeps 6 to each condo – perfect for booking your team! Full kitchen (so you can cook all your meals),  Two pools, whirlpool, private balconies, boat slips marina, two bathrooms, television,  all the comforts of home. (11.5% tax = $27 / Total $262) Cashier’s Check Only. One night deposit required upon making reservation. Payment in full by December 31. Cancellation Policy: One night penalty for any cancellation. No refund inside 14 day period.

Women's Guest House

Pearls Rainbow - 525 United St - Women Only Guest House - Prices vary for a varity of rooms available. $139 (3rd floor / Queen Bed) or $279.00 renovated King Suite with sofa bed in living room. Credit Card payment OK. Cancellation Policy: $15.00 charge outside of 15 days / 14 days and in - 50% of reservation will be charged. (11.5% tax =$15.98 / total $154.98 for Queen) / (11.5% = $32.08 / total = $311.08 for King Bed + sofa Suite). Pearls requires 50% of payment upon booking. Limited space so make your booking soon!

Bed & Breakfasts

Avalon Bead & Breakfast  – 1317 Duval St  - For the local flavor of the island. Continental Breakfast served and is located on the quieter side of Duval St.  2 miles to the field and 0 miles from action downtown! Small queen – sleeps two  $169.00 / Queen in the main house $199.00 / 2 Queen beds (sleeps 4) $229.00 King honeymoon cottage $269.00. All bookings requires  a 4 night minimum stay. Duval Gardens –  1012  Duval St -  Another Bed & Breakfast (continental breakfast served), in the quiet side of Duval St and near many attractions. 2 miles to the field and 0 miles from action downtown! Rates are $169.00 for the queen rooms (sleeps 2)  and $209.00 for Their  King rooms or efficiency (also one queen bed) which sleeps 2. All bookings requires  a 4 night minimum stay. Standard Hotel Rooms

Radisson Hotel – 3820 North Roosevelt  - Our rate is $186 (sleeps 4) for one of 145  standard hotel rooms, which normally costs $249!  Right on the boulevard across the street is view of the Gulf of Mexico and very close to the fields,  Each room is appointed with refrigerator, coffee maker, hairdryer, iron/ironing board, in-room safe, remote control color cable 25-inch TV with free HBO, and two direct dial phones, one with fax/computer hookup. Swimming pool and  near so many  shopping stores .  Credit Card  payment acceptable.  Southernmost Hotel - 1319 Duval (right on Duval, downtown where all the action is! Our rate is $214 (sleeps 4 comfortably) for one of their 127 rooms. Enjoy the best of both worlds: Exciting Nightlife and Relaxing Days at the Beach (once the tournament is over). Two pools, a Jucuzzi, 2 poolside Tiki bars, beach access just across the street, and more ....
