Pre- Registration (part 1)
Cost: Free to IWFFA members
Location: Wicker Field. An in-depth course for those who are serious about officiating women's and girl's flag-football games. Successful completion provides certification and allows you to officiate in any of the sanctioned IWFFA tournaments. Course includes: Learning definitions and In-depth understanding of IWFFA rules (page by page). Learning mechanics associated with officiating and field positioning. During tournament, participants will do chains on field (learning how to command the chains), then referee in Beginner and Girls division (to be monitored and rated by instructor). Come prepared with official's uniform including: Official's black and white shirt, black shorts, black cleats white socks, whistle, score card and 2 yellow flags. Each team is encouraged to have one of it's players participate.

All Day "Key West Sunset Tiki Bar Street
Fair"
Location: Green St. between Duval and Simonton St.
12:00 noon 4:30PM
The Key West Sunset Tiki Bar (@ the Galleon Marina) has sponsored this event for our second annual street fair. Street Vendors and Live Entertainment throughout the day. Key West Sunset Tiki Bar sets the stage for our entertainers: Whistlin Tom (the third best whistler in the world), Singers: Clayton Lopez and Wilhemina Martin, 801 girls, Key West's poetry Club will share with us some of their most profound works and more! Listen to Key West's top performers while walking around drinking, eating, shopping and enjoying the entertainment and street vendors. Teams are invited to come on up to the mike and join in on the show as well.
4:30 - 4:55 PM - Opening Ceremonies
Location: Green St. & Duval St.
Countries will come up to the stage / present their national flag
and sing national anthem (some teams may want to play a tape for
background music). American anthem will be sung. Welcome to the
city by Monroe County Mayor Dixie Spehar (Who'sWho), Welcome to
the tournament by President Diane Beruldsen (Who's Who) City Commissioner
Tom Oosterhoudt (Who's Who) and KW Mayor Assistant Jay Galvin
(Who's Who)
5PM Players Parade Fourth Annual
Location: Line up @ Green St. &
Duval. We go down Duval to South St. where the parade ends (southern
most point). Our Grand Marshall will be Monroe County Mayor Dixie
Spehar and joined by our past Fantasy Fest Queens: Martha Robinson
(2001), The Bitch Sisters(2002) and Lea Fox (2003). This year,
Mexico joins us and will march with the Scott's who will front
the parade with their bagpipes followed by floats, all our guests,
celebrities and players. Bring your banners to represent your
team, or national flag. Prize for best Team Banner!
7PM 10PM Meet & Greet Host Hotel: Grand Key Resort - 3990 South Roosevelt
Blvd.
All Players must attend and be officially cleared from roster
Teams meet and socialize as they officially register for the tournament showing their IWFFA membership cards and photo I.D.'s. If your team has registered all materials to us and you owe us no money, please go to the EXPRESS LINE! Rosters close at 10:00 PM*
Entertainment: INJADE
(see who's who) will perform a wide variety of music including
distinctive original songs and music from other artists. Photo
board of teams who have participated in past Key West tournaments
along with archives of women's flag football will be displayed.
A 50/50 raffle will be held. Three full bars available, food and
slide show presentation of flag football action shots (thanks
to Michelle Wisniewski). Pick up player registration "goodie
bag"
Manager's Meeting - 8PM (one rep per team) go to meeting
room
Meeting will start at 8:15 in separate room at the Grand Key
Resort. Refreshments will be served. Tournament head official
Brian Johnston will go over IWFFA rules. Tournament format, Tie
Breaker and Protests will be described and teams will be seeded
into their divisional brackets.
Friday February 14th (Happy Valentines Day) 1st Day Competition
8:45 AM Team Photos
Teams are asked to come to the information table, located in the
middle of the Wicker Facility before their first game to take
their team photo for the tournament (before you get your shirts
dirty!).

and Tommie Roberts Stadium (KWHS field)

Girls - Teen Dance 8PM
Located: At the Youth Center
next to KW Airport on South Roosevelt
Sponsored by the Boys & Girls Club of Key West. All the girls
are invited to come on out and boogie! Local youth in Key West
and up the Keys come to this dance every Friday night. The music
is great and the atmosphere is fun. Drinks and refreshments available
(bring money) live DJ and great fun - Put on those danc'n shoes!

7:30 and games will begin at 8PM. 10 Teams of 4 players will compete
in your "not so typical" bar games. Baby Bottle Sucking,
Hoop Shots, Beer Chugging, plus more. Fat's will award prizes
to top winners! Hosted by Fat Tuesdays and will be announced by
radio personality, bringing this event "on air". Women
over 18 yr of age, but under 21, may still come to participate
(but drinking alcohol will be prohibited Fl. State requires
that you are 21 yr or older). Show your IWFFA membership cards
at door.

2:00 PM 4:00 PM Special Autograph
Session for the local children.
For the fourth year, we will open up
a table by the main field and ask all players in the tournament
to volunteer and offer themselves and their autographs for the
local children. For Key West, this is such a big sporting event,
which brings and highlights female athletes of all ages from all
over the world. For the local children, it is such a thrill to
get your autographs and take home to remember their role models
until next year.

"Girls Party" (women) at Bourbon Street's heated pool
(see ad) and we will run our infamous TOILET RELAY RACE this night
too at the Bourbon St. Pub. Teams of 4 can sign up that night
and run around the streets of Key West for a roll of toilet paper.
Prizes to winners, you must have your receipt, exact change and
roll of toilet paper.

Girls Awards
Will be given on field #2 immediately
following their last championship game. Trophy Plaque to top three
teams and First Place Championship Prizes to top team as well
as a Free Team Registration to any IWFFA tournament. President
of IWFFA Diane Beruldsen will give out awards: MVP's and Special
Select All Stars. We hope the girls and young ladies enjoy the
rest of the Women's games after their awards are over and find
a seat in the bleachers!

This year, we have special celebrity Lenore Troia, who will give
us a wonderful singing performance, live on the field during our
half time.

Live entertainment by Lenore Troia who will also be our Mistress
of Ceremony.
All Teams will be awarded (players given souvenir tournament pins),
special awards to be presented: Porter Wilson Award, MVP's, All
Star Team, Top three teams in each division receive trophy plaques.
#1 Teams in their division for year 2002 will also receive special
awards.
We ask all teams to come and participate as we come to the close
of our 12th annual Kelly McGillis Classic. Full bar, and food
available throughout the night on the beach.

For the past three years, we have packed our last tournament dance party! And we will pack it in again. If you want to know where all the women will be, it will be at AQUA. This year, owned and operated by women, Jill owner, and Karrie manager promise to make this night. A GREAT ONE! The best dance music on the island will keep you groov'n till the wee hours. During the night, will be free give aways, and door prizes. Also, team entertainment throughout the night.

Our third team rep meeting at Sunset Tiki Bar @ The Galleon Marina 617 Front st. where team rep's are asked to come voice their opinion for next years Kelly McGillis Classic and the IWFFA year 2003. It is a powerful meeting and you are encouraged to come and voice your opinion. Last year some pretty heavy things were discussed and rule changes made. If you want a voice bring it. Food will be served and drinks available. We encourage each team to be represented.
