 Welcome to our 12h Annual

Kelly McGillis Classic International Womens and Girls Flag Football Championship /      February 11 - 17, 2003

This page was created to help teams make their hotel bookings

We understand that by picking President's weekend, the busiest time of year for the island of Key West, that hotels and guest houses charge their highest rate. But you cannot beat the weather!

Normally room rates are given for two persons, and though a room may accomodate additional persons in that room, additional charges are added and charged as an "extra person" fee. This is due to the extra wear and tear and time needed to clean up the room.

What we have done for our players over the years, is made arrangements with various lodgings to offer: discounted rates, plus have the extra person/s fee waived. Some of these rates are a huge difference from their normal prices. Also to ensure that we have enough rooms for our teams, we have blocked as many as 50 rooms at each of these facilities . One year the entire island was booked and teams had no place to stay! They could not come to the tournament

Please Book your Hotels and Airlines As soon as possible - Call 1-888-GO-IWFFA (1-888- 464-9332) / (305) 293-9315 or Email : iwffa@iwffa.com

All of these prices are the lowest the hotels and guest houses could possibly offer our players at this time of year. They are cheaper than any travel agent , national offices or other booking agents. This page gives you some photos and little description along with their prices.

Some of these locations allow you to book directly to their front desk (usually speaking to a particular person designated in the hotel's description here). You need to identify yourself as an IWFFA member in order to get these discounts Some of these locations will not take direct bookings, and therefore, you need to go thru our IWFFA office.

Major credit cards are accepted (by IWFFA as well) and some facilities require their rooms to be paid in full prior to your arrival. Some guest houses require special arrangements for payment, which you may find out at the time of your booking. Usually, a one night deposit is sufficient and cancellation policies vary.

Florida state, requires a 11.5% sales tax which will be added to these rates. Please take the full amount of each room into consideration, especially when you are sharing a room and dividing costs among one another. These prices do not include this Florida hotel/bed tax.

In booking for your team find out if players would like to go out to eat in local restaurants, or if players are trying to save money by cooking their own meals in their hotel room. Some of your options offer standard rooms (no cooking facilities), kitchenettes (micro-wave, kitchen sink and refrigerator) or full kitchen facilities with dining rooms, multiple bedrooms, two or more bathrooms, television, VCR's etc. Are you looking for comfort, or just a bed to sleep in?

We remind you that it is customary to tip your cleaning person either daily or at the end of your stay. All of these places we have listed, are extremely clean, well known, established and very reputable businesses. ALL are very close to the fields

Many thanks to the managers of these hotels and guest houses. And....... enjoy your stay!
