Georgeann Lewis

 

Obtained her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Rhode Island College, her Master Certificate in Child and Adolescent Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology and, will graduate in June 2011 with her Masters degree in Child and Adolescent Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She has worked in the human service field for over 20 years.

Georgeann resides in the smallest state in the union, Rhode Island, in the capitol city of Providence. Forty two  years of age and recently  engaged. She has been involved in sports her entire life playing since she could walk. She received  “Most Athletic” in her  graduating high school class. She has coached a  state championship girls volleyball team  and remains involved in playing and officiating sports to date.

“Youth are my passion. Sports are an essential developmental part of children’s lives. This is particularly true of inner city low SES-youth with limited resources, prone to high rates of obesity, at risk behaviors, and mental health issues. My aspiration is to utilize my knowledge and background in sports and my professional experience to help create a healthier generation of youth. “
