2007 Promotional Tours |

In commemoration of the 10th anniversary of the IWFFA, the organization will be promoting the sport of flag football with two promotional tours, one in the Scandinavian countries and one in the state of Florida. These promotional tours, which will take place over the summer, will offer a variety of FREE modules focusing in specific skills used in the 8on8 contact flag football format used by the IWFFA. MAY 26: Melbourne & Satellite Beach– 6-8 P.M. JUNE 9: Melbourne & Palm Bay- 6-8 P.M. JUNE 16: Palm Bay & Malabar - 6-8 P.M. Information: Date: June 2007 Purpose: To offer flag football instructional modules to new players, to offer summer scrimmages among existing and new teams, and to expand the IWFFA in the state of Florida. Modules: 1. Introduction to 8on8 Contact Flag 2. Introduction to O-line/D-line 3. Introduction to O-backs/D-backs 4. Special Teams 5. Line play techniques 6. Backs play techniques 7. Offense and Defense Strategy Scrimmages: “Mixed- in” scrimmages with the Melbourne Blue Wave or actual scrimmage :Your Team Vs. Melbourne Blue Wave. Individual Competition: individual competitions will be offered if time allows it. This competitions will test individual players on basic skills such as speed, agility, kicking/throwing abilities, etc. For more information contact gonzalee@fit.edu

Scandinavian Promotional Tour 2007
Date: May 2007 - June 2007 Location: Kaly, Sweden Varberg, Sweden Gothenburg, Sweden Oslo, Norway Hidra, Norway Malmo, Sweden Purpose: To offer flag football training and create new teams. Details: New teams will be supplied with equipment and invited to play in the Scandinavian tournament series. Scandinavian Tournament Series: Hjorring, Denmark May 26-27 Oslo, Norway June 16-17
