We are delighted to invite all of you to the Seventh Annual IWFFA Columbus Day Thunder Classic on

behalf of the Blue Thunder Women’s Flag Football Team and The International Women’s Flag Football Association.

The Thunder Classic brings together some of the nation’s finest female athletes. Since 2000, the Thunder

Classic has come to represent athleticism, professionalism, teamwork, and sportsmanship. It is the

Metropolitan Area’s premiere women’s flag football sporting event, and we are certain that this weekend will

be one that you will not soon forget.

We want to thank you all for your continued support of and commitment to not only this tournament, but to

women’s flag football across the nation. Without your participation and dedication, this tournament would

not be possible.

Description of Tournament / Prizes and Awards

Each team will be guaranteed to play a minimum of three (3) games. Team plaques to top three teams. The first place team will also be awarded a free team registration for any sanctioned IWFFA tournament (good for one year).The tournament will award each team's MVP for both Offense and Defense (decided by each team's designated voter). Special All Star Teams will be selected, decided by special committee, and awarded medals. A point system is applied for all IWFFA tournaments and rank teams nationally and internationally for girls and women's flag football for year 2006.This tournament will be ranked as competitive division for new teams participating in IWFFA 2006 tournaments (previously ranked teams remain in their divisional status).
