2003 Final Ranking of National and International

Women's & Girls Flag Football Teams

Also Included are Special Awards

Teams are allowed to choose which division of play they would like to compete in for our largest tournament the Kelly McGillis Classic, in February.

Since it is our first tournament of the year, we keep teams in those divisions as they compete and are ranked in other tournaments.

All other IWFFA tournaments are ranked by judging the teams coming into the event that year, or past year. Some tournaments may be competitive, recreational or beginner level of play. Teams joining us later in the year, will be ranked in the first divsion of tournament they play in.

During tournaments , teams receive these amount of points:
2 pts for each win
1 point for each tie
0 point for each loss
3 points for first place team in each division of tournament
1 point awarded to each team that participates in a tournament

Throughout the year, points are tallied and end of year team with most points for their division takes recognition as the number one team for that division. Teams are awarded at the Kelly McGillis Classics and receive IWFFA necklaces.
